About Us

Niche Benefits is an Affiliate of Hadelman & Associates, Inc. and was started in July of 1990. The company, initially, was involved in the managed care market and later became intimately involved, at broker/employer/client requests, in the strategic planning and creation of the full spectrum of benefit offerings to meet a growing need in the employer marketplace to provide solutions in a very costly environment. The rising number of uninsured that are employed and the rising number of part time workers has required “new” thinking and planning in respect to benefit solutions for those employed in these categories of employee eligibles along with the rest of the employment work force.

The Company experience, covering more than 35 years, includes the full range from operating companies to consulting for companies to designing benefit options for companies that has allowed it to bring together the most creative and appropriate approach for the employer.

Niche Benefits has been asked to solve very complex benefit offerings that brokers have brought to it such as: 1099 contractors, associations, special employer/employee relatonships and so forth.  The solutions accomplished have been very well accepted in the marketplace.

Overall All – the factors that are affecting the employer:

Hadelman & Associates typically works with brokers that have employer clients of of 100 or more employees. However, the Company does work with smaller employers when the commitment to the success of the benefit program will be apparent. Solutions designed are dependent upon the type of industry, demographics profile, and number of employees participating, employer contribution levels, claim utilization experience when required, carrier offerings within that market place and whether the employer will make a contribution ot the benefit offering. Participation levels are usually directly dependent upon the employer commitment to the benefit offering through marketing and contribution levels, if provided.
